Daily Denticon Checklist

ALL DAY 

  • Check new  & existing patient registration   iconto import paperwork 
  • Make sure all appts have been marked with the  and posted 
  • Make sure all ACCOUNTS IN CAPITAL LETTERS have been made into ortho accounts 
  • Open Patient Overview and click  

            Click Ortho Patient box on top left 

            Click Ortho Patient box in Patient Types on right--Save 

            Click Patient name in lowercase letters in Family Members to reach General account 

            Go to Patient dropdown menu and select Add/Link Ortho patient 

                    Type patient last name in search bar 

                    Select blue Patient ID and click OK to link  


AM (all reports should be saved to your favorites) 

  • Run Audit Trail to see insurances added by CEC  
  • Run Daily Journal and correct providers (O for Invisalign appts, -A for assisted hygiene, no ZZZ doctors, no doctors that didn’t work yesterday) 
  • Run Daily Audit to make sure all notes & ledger transactions are posted 
  • Batch Insurance Claims 

            DXC attachments required? 

            Attach required narratives, x-rays, etc 

            Save each one back into batch 

            Transmit Claims 

            Launch out to EClaims Management 

            Resolve any issues (rejected, duplicates, etc) 


Provider Match Required must be submitted in a ticket to practicesupport@guardiandentistry.com (or ask onsite trainer to resolve) 


Link insurances to any pushed to the bottom that still have Conversion Default attached 

 

PM (all reports should be saved to your favorites) 

  • Chart Prep 
  • Appts that have  on the schedule: 
  • Highlight appt and go to the house (patient overview) 

            Click  under Dental Insurance 

            Search Group #, Employer name, etc 

            Open plan and compare deductible, max, coverage % and frequencies to verify plan 

            Select and Save 

            Click gold triangle  and click Check Eligibility 

            If real-time doesn’t go through and we have verified patient manually through carrier: 

            Click on Primary 

            Click Update Status on the right 

            Choose Eligible and Save 

            Save at the bottom of the screen 


  • Edit Responsible Party 

            Choose patient type: PPO, Discount, DHMO, or Cash 

            Go into Tx Plan 

            Ensure all procedures for next appt are at the top (phase 1)  

            Select Re-Estimate, enter TID 1, Re-estimate 


If plan cannot be located, send all pt info to francis@cecomputech.com to build the breakdownIf we have access to the breakdown already, send to denticoninsrequests@guardiandentistry.com 


  • Run Uncollected Copay and ensure each entry has a financial note in Patient Notes 
  • Run Deposit Slip 
  • Run report in Rectangle Health 
  • Run report from Open Dental 
  • Compare all three for balancing 
  • Run Daily Journal for collection/production/adjustment totals 
  • Complete EOD for Area Manager
